Johan Cilliers (age 52), associate Professor in Homiletics and Liturgy at the Faculty of Theology, University of Stellenbosch, South Africa. Presently vice-president of the Societas Homiletica.

Fields of research: Preaching in a context of HIV and AIDS; Liturgy and aesthetics; Homiletics and ethics. Lecturing to pre-graduate and postgraduate students in the fields of Homiletics and Liturgy.
